Information currently stored

Signed-in users may save an approximate job location, request description, timing, offers, provider type, selected skills, business settings, and service radius. TownHands associates these records with the authenticated account email. Do not enter access codes, payment-card data, government identifiers, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

Public and protected areas

The informational site is public. Dashboards, profiles, opportunity details, requests, offers, and activity records require sign-in. Request details are shown only to their owner and eligible signed-in providers. Precise home addresses should be shared only after the parties choose to proceed.

AI and marketplace information

TownHands uses structured rules and may use AI to clarify requests, suggest matches, explain quote differences, and identify potential safety or licensing concerns. Provider quotes are labeled separately from illustrative estimates. Personal marketplace information is not sold as an AI training dataset.

Retention and control

Founding-beta records are retained to operate and improve the marketplace. Account export, deletion, and formal retention controls are under development. Participants may stop submitting new information at any time.

Platform content

Content from any authorized third-party integration will retain required attribution and links and follow the provider’s display, retention, and removal requirements.
